Been a long while!!!

So I totally gave up blogging for a while. Where to start? Well in school I ended up getting a 3.86 GPA. Much better than i first thought, but not the 4.0 I should have gotten. I'm no longer dating Lindsey at this time. I have a new laptop computer after the other one's hard drive took a dump. I just started my second semester this past week and like most of my classes. Tonight I'm going over by Tom and Erins house to hangout. That's pretty much it for this post......Peace!

I've been pretty busy the last few days. School will be over for the semester tomorrow :) So far I'm getting 2 A's and a A- with 2 classes to go. I'm thinking I should get an A in my Math class and I'm hoping for a B+ or A- in my Speech class. Excited for the nice month long break from all the homework. Speaking of homework, I should finish my last homework of the semester!

Too much homework for one day!

Well I just finished doing homework. Started at 4pm and just finished now!! Got my math and most importantly, my Networking project done. Oh and throw in a little support homework too. This week has been pretty boring. With the snowstorm and nobody being up at the shop, I've been staying home a lot. Tomorrow though I get to go out and about for the day. Going to my brothers house in the afternoon to see my nephews!! I might try to go see Lindsey later at night but for sure on Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday afternoon, Noah has a Christmas thing is class is putting on. It should be super cute to see that. Well I need to go get some sleep and wake up early to see if my unemployment is finally going to pay me again. Peace! As always, here's some interesting facts :)

Cold one

And I'm not talking about beer :) I think it might haven gotten to about 1 degrees so far today. Back on Monday I had gotten a hold of unemployment and they said they would be paying me in 2 days. Wrong!! It's Thursday and still no money, so I called again today and they said that a date was entered incorrectly on their end. So Tina helped me out and said I should get paid tomorrow. She gave me her direct number if I didn't get paid so to try to figure out why. Homework is on tap after I take a shower and get some food in me. I had been so pissed about the unemployment stuff that I never really got hungry. Well I best get going so I don't forget to take a shower.

No School Today

School was canceled today. In my younger years I would be happy. Today I'm not. With only 2 weeks left of the Semester, I don't want to have to cram everything on the last week. As far as snowfall went, I think we got 6-8 inches of heavy wet snow. The cold winds are starting to pick up and they say it's suppose to get below zero tonight. I sure hope my friends with houses shoveled before they left for work and not wait until after work when the snow will have froze. So now I need to get motivated to work on the homework I failed to do today. Peace for now....

Snowing

We have about an inch or 2 on the ground so far. The wind is starting to pick up and the sky is pretty light for 10pm. Radar makes it look like we might get about 10 inches. I'm guessing 8.7 inches for Brookfield. Really hoping they don't cancel school tomorrow. Lindsey works tomorrow morning at 7am! Kind of worried about her drive into work. I didn't do anything of real importance today. Kind of wish I would have done more with the day but I was feeling lazy. I'm find of mad right now because channel 24 is not working and the Simpsons just started. I can live with missing the Simpsons, but also missing Family Guy would spell disastrous. My buddies from the shop are out plowing tonight. If I new for sure that I didn't have school tomorrow I would have joined one of them for the nights fun. I just love how the news reporters need to report out in the snow. Like anybody watching the news doesn't know what a snowstorm looks like. Oh...that's what snow is! Still no channel 24 :( Just finished a New Grist Beer! Look it up if you never had one. Well I'm going to get off here for the night I think. Peace!! Just as I was going to get offline I heard thunder snow.

Just wasted 3 hours doing nothing important

I've been online that last 3 hours and didn't really get anything done. I'm thinking of doing homework but I think a beer might be in order first! The snowstorm is still on it's way. It has gotten above freezing, so that might limit the snow at first. Programming class today was boring but luckily I have only one more class to go! If school is canceled tomorrow, I have Math and then my speech in Oral Communications. Well Glenn Beck is on so I must go for now.

The snow has started today. It's not from the snowstorm yet which is kind of crazy. Were suppose to get 1-2 inches by time the real storm gets here. Their still saying 9-12 inches of snow. Got an A today!

I got an A today in my final Networking test of the semester. I got a 99 out of a 100. Earlier in the semester I thought that the highest grade I could end up getting was a B+/A-, I now stand at an A- with the final project left. I think it's pretty safe to say that I should be getting an A in the class. The final project really isn't too bad. I'm going to try to get a good start on it tonight before the Green Bay Packer Game. That's it for now.

Monday is here again....

Time for my final test in Networking today. I didn't study as much as I would have liked to, but I think I'll still do good. The 2-4 inches of snow that we were suppose to get missed us. All we got was a dusting of snow. Tuesday night sounds like the for sure storm. They say 8-12 inches by Wednesday. Time will tell that story. So while I was writing this blog, I was on the phone with unemployment and they said I'd get my money in 2 days! Today has so far been a good day :)

Lazy Sunday

What a lazy day it's been so far. Watched parts of a couple movies and watched a few parts of football games. After dinner in a little bit I'll be working on the homework and studying I've been putting off all day. I have the last test in my Networking class tomorrow. On Wednesday I have my final speech to do. As of right now it looks like were going to be getting a snowstorm here. They say Tuesday night into Wednesday. I hope it's more Wednesday and classes are canceled. I probably won't be that lucky though. Lindsey is at work again today. I haven't seen her or Noah since last Sunday :(( And as of now it might be almost 2 weeks before I get to see her again. God I love that girl. Yum Yum Chili

To quit or not to quit?

I've been a smoker now for about 13 years. I've been trying to quit smoking for the last 5 years without much success. I always seem to make excuses to start up again or I start to gain weight and lit up again. I'm again thinking about quitting smoking but also want to lose weight. I'm just afraid that if i quit I'll start putting on the pounds I'm trying to lose. Anyone have any suggestions?

Was up at the shop today...

Watched the boys take down an impacter that weighed a lot!! It took them about 3 hours to move it from one end of the yard to the other. Their were a few times when i thought the thing was going to tip. The only main obstacle was moving it under the power lines. Though, that turned out to be the least of the issues with the move. They had to move 3 cars that no longer started so they had to hook them up to a forklift and drag them so they could position the impacter. The worst part of the day was dealing with 20 degree weather and the gusty winds that chilled your bones. Well I'm going to go get some dinner and work on some homework I've been putting off. On a side note, I waqs going to go see Lindsey tonight but she's still pretty sick :( Maybe this weekend I'll get a chance to see my love.

Good old Friday

I remember as a young child how much I enjoyed Friday's. It was the last day of school and the the start of the weekend. Now as an adult, Friday is just as fun. My friends and I tend to go out and go to a new restaurant or to a new club. Today when I woke up, my nephew was here. My brother and sister and law were at children hospital for a minor surgery for my other nephew. Said a prayer last night that everything will go all right. Well I have to get up and get going.
